People Can Make the Difference: Staff Roles in Resource Marketing and Education

Social Media, hyperlinks, brochures… There are a multitude of ways to get the word out about your library’s resource sharing materials, but role does your staff play? This session will highlight ways that staff can market those resources and educate the public as to their value and use.

This session combines aspects of marketing, staff training, and workflow. This information can help those that are trying to get staff buy-in as it talks about how to educate staff in resource sharing to the point where they can ‘sell’ it at the desk, virtually, or wherever there is a chance to introduce the service to those whom it might benefit.
